About Us

The Steel People Ltd operate from a 10,000sq. ft. fully equipped workshop in Aylesford, Kent. This brand new building is fitted with overhead cranes of the latest design. We are constantly investing in new plant and have invested heavily to make ourselves market leaders. We pride ourselves for delivering on time to call off and can usually help with quick turnaround to assist our clients' programmes.

All our labour is directly employed; we, not sub-contractors, undertake all site work. We are able to supply in various finishes - these include primer painted, galvanised and hot zinc sprayed with topcoats in paint or powder coating. Many customers choose stainless steel - we have supplied staircase balustrades, railings and canopies in brushed stainless steel - most often with glass infills, but also with decorative timber such as American White Oak.

We have different vehicles to cover any type of delivery - from Citroen Berlingo, Ford transit drop-sides or box van, to our Leyland DAF HI-AB equipped rigid lorry. All personnel carry portable telephones to enable constant communication between site, office and deliveries.
